Suzanne Coonan is Principal and Executive Coach at Aerial Leadership Inc.  With nearly 20 years in the HR field as a strategic leader, recruiter and coach, she is now dedicated to helping successful professionals reach new heights and achieve their greatest potential.  Suzanne partners with high-performing, high-achieving leaders to navigate challenging and complex environments, advance their careers or explore new options, find more meaning and balance in work and life, and reach their highest leadership aspirations.  Suzanne is also a skilled speaker and facilitator on leadership and career development and has presented to hundreds of business leaders at major US and Fortune 500 companies including Abbott, Allstate, Kraft, GE, Hospira, Navistar, Solo Cup, Sysmex and Zurich. Suzanne has held past positions at an MBA school, a legal publishing company, a technology consulting firm, and at Hewitt, a benefits outsourcing and consulting firm. Most recently Suzanne served as Vice President – Human Resources at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, a not-for-profit MBA school dedicated to helping improve people’s lives through education.  She was on the senior leadership team and was responsible for all aspects of human resources including creating and implementing a comprehensive talent management program and introducing coaching to the organization.  Currently Suzanne provides leadership development and career coaching to experienced business professionals.  In addition, she is an adjunct faculty member with the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management’s Corporate Solutions group and also teaches certificate programs in coaching and career planning/talent management as a facilitator with the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD). Suzanne holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Positive Organizational Development and Change from Case Western Reserve University.   She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and has earned a certificate in Organizational Development from DePaul University.  Suzanne is a graduate of the Coach U coaching program and a member of the International Coaching Federation.
